Bullock-Lambert

Caroline Bullock and Burke Lambert of Atlanta were united in marriage Dec. 3, 2005, in a true “wedding in the city,” with a rehearsal dinner at Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park, a black-tie ceremony at St. Philips Cathedral and a reception at the Four Seasons Hotel in Midtown. The Reverend Dr. David Galloway, the rector of the bride’s childhood church, officiated at the elegant evening ceremony.

Escorted down the candlelit aisle by her father, the bride was beautiful in a diamond white silk charmeuse gown and ivory French lace veil by Melissa Sweet. She carried a bouquet of white roses, fern curls and chocolate lady slipper orchids.

Caroline’s best friend, Kendall Pryles Remer, served as matron of honor; Burke’s father was best man.

Following the ceremony, with the cathedral bells ringing out congratulations, the party proceeded down Peachtree to the Four Seasons Hotel Grand Ballroom. Here, family and friends were welcomed into a whimsical winter woodland, complete with white birch fantasy trees, orchids, exotic flowers and candles in a palate of whites, silver sage and warm bronze. The bride’s vision was brought to life by Susan Sleeper of The Little Sparrow Floral Design.

Guests toasted the couple with Champagne cocktails and danced until midnight, with music by the band Anita. The newlyweds were showered with rose petals as they made their exit at the grand staircase. They enjoyed a “surprise” honeymoon to Jumby Bay in Antigua, West Indies, where they spent eight days.
